Helloooo,
I hope everyone is having a great weekend and also a good start back to school after the Christmas holidays.
Makeup is something I love a lot and I wear it almost everyday. I want to show you my daily makeup routine that I wear to school and when i'm out with friends.
This the the makeup and brushed that i use everyday.
First of all i start with a clean face and then moisturizes with Nivea daily essentials oil free moisturising day cream.
After i have moisturized, i have two foundations that I mix together to get the right color for my skin. The first on the right is Rimmel London match perfection in shade 10, light porcelain and the second on the left is Dior skin nude in shade 20. I apply this all over my face with the real techniques miracle complexion sponge. This sponge helps you apply the foundation evenly onto the skin without it being too thick. If you don't already own one of these sponges i would recommend getting one because they are amazing.
This is what the coverage of the two mixed foundations looks like.
I then apply Rimmel London wake me up concealer to areas of the face that need a little bit more coverage's like spots or redness. I also apply it under the eyes just to get rid of any bags.
This is what it looks like after i have applied the concealer. It just covers any redness and spots. Also helps my eyes to look brighter.
I then apply a thin layer of Rimmel London Stay matte long lasting pressed powder with my real techniques buffing brush just to make the look more matted and less oily and shiny.
This is the look after i have applied the powder.
I then apply some Mac powder blush in shade Mocha with my real techniques contouring brush. I do not have their blush brush yet so i am using this until i am able to get it. This blush is a very pretty pink and when you are applying it, it is not very pink on your cheeks so you can make it a warm pink or if you want more you can just keep building it up.
This is the look after i applied the powder blush.
After i am happy with how my cheeks look, i apply Bare Minerals setting mineral veil with my real techniques setting brush. I apply this to areas where i applied concealers just t make sure the concealer stays on for longer.
After I have finished on my face, i start with my eye makeup. I start by doing my eyeshadow. The palette on the left is Dior holiday collection and the palette on the right is N7.
I first start off with a light creme color just to cover my eye lids with. This helps you start with a good base for your other colors that you apply.
I then apply a layer of a light brown shade with a gold shimmer which adds a nice shine which the light will pick up.
After that i apply a layer of a light brown/grey matte shade to half of my eyelid.
Finally i add a dark brown shade with a slight shimmer to it into the cease of the eyelid. This stands out and contours the eyelids.
This is what the finished eye looks like. They are not too dark but they are noticeable so it is great look for a day at school or just a normal day out.
To finish the eyes off i use Rimmel London soft kohl eye liner pencil and Benefit 'they're real' mascara for my top lashes. I don't apply mascara to my bottom lashes for days at schools because it then just looks like to much.
This is the look after i have applied my eye line and mascara.
This is the finished look. I have applied a lip balm because my lips become very dry and crack very easily. My favorite moisturising lip balm is carmex. I would recommend this product to anyone. If your lips are always dry or crack a lot this is a perfect lip balm for you.
This is the finished look but i have just added a lovely pink lipstick which just adds a bit of color to your lips. A light pink works well for school because it is not too bright and it works well with this makeup look.
Thank you very much for reading my blog and i hope you enjoyed it. I hoped that this gave you some ideas about a natural makeup look and please leave a comment below about what my next blog could be about <3
