College Clothing!

Helloooo my lovely readers, how is everyone today?
So I start college next week and lately i've been buying lots of new clothes to wear. I thought it would be a good idea to show you some of the items that I have brought which might help you with some idea's for college or just in general.

P.S. I was at my brother house last weekend down in Chester and they have an amazing outlet mall called Cheshire Oaks there and that is where I brought most of the clothes I will be showing you, have come from.

One of the first items that I brought was a denim jacket. I brought this from Levi's and it only cost me £60 which I think is a bargain for the quality of the jacket. I have wanted a denim jacket for ages. I love how they help to complete an outfit but are also quite thick so help you to stay warm, especially in England. Denim jackets are always fashionable so I will be wearing it until it falls apart.

 Red flower patterned trousers £14.
 Dark blue blouse £19.
 Dark green patterned trousers £10.
 Grey 'wills' jumper £22.

All of the items above are from Jack Wills. I went into their outlet store and had a field day. The prices on everything were just bargains that it would be a crime not to buy them. The two pairs of trousers that I brought at normal price would have been £50 each and I was lucky enough to get them for £10 and £14. They are very tight fitting and very comfortable. The colors and patterns are easily matched with a plain t-shirt or jumper. The dark blue blouse at normal price was £39.50 and I purchased it for £19. It is a lovely light top with a beautiful circled collar. The only down point to this top is that its a little see through but you can easily wear a strap top underneath. The plain grey jumper with a beautiful blue flowered patterned 'wills' at it's normal price was £59.50 and I brought it for £25. It is a lovely cosy jumper that is perfect for the colder months and also works very well with the patterned trousers.

This beautiful top was brought from a shop in Chester called Laundry and they sell such beautiful clothes and accessories. This top was in the sale and was only £5. I know it is more for warmer weather but it could be worn with a jacket or for an evening out. The colors are very bright but work well with light colored jeans.

The next pair of jeans that I brought were from Hollister and again they were in their sale. The cost me £19.99 and are a lovely light blue color and are very soft and comfortable to wear. They will be great for college because there is nothing worse than trying to concentrate and wearing uncomfortable clothing. Also the color will work well with a huge variety of other colors.

The next item I brought was from Superdry. One of there warm, beautiful jumpers. I have wanted one of these for ages but have always found some reason not to buy it but when they are only £29.99 and normally £49.99 you can't really not buy one. This will be perfect for colder months and also for when I have to wake up early and am still very tired so feel the cold a lot more. It is lined with a fluffy material that is super soft and very comfortable to wear.

I feel I brought too many jackets but when I saw this tartan with leather sleeve's jacket I just couldn't leave it. It only cost me £30 from the original price of £60. Is that a bargain or what? I wore this jacket up to London the other day and it was raining all day but I was always warm and it dried very quickly which is perfect because a wet coat is the worst thing.

Now the next couple of items are from London. This beautiful top is from Camden Market and only cost me £8. The material is very soft and works well with the light jeans as seen in the picture. I just thought this top was very pretty and would be nice for college.

The two scarves from above are both from Forever 21 and both only cost £5 each which is amazing for how big and bulky they are. I love scarves and  always wear them especially when it is cold because I hate having a cold neck. These will be perfect for winter because they are so soft and have lots of material to wrap around your neck. I also love the autumny red and the very 'in' tartan pattern.

So of course I had to get some new shoes for college. My old trainers were literally dieing, they were used so much and I just needed a new pair. These are just plain grey Adidas trainers because I wear them all the time so I wanted a color that would go with everything. They are my new best friends and I wear them everywhere. They are very comfortable. I cannot remember the price for them because I brought them in Italy.

Everyone needs a pair of gorgeous boots. These suede boots are from M&S and only cost me £29 down from £59. They are very comfortable and they are a short boot so they work well with jeans and even skirts and dresses. Because of the suede material I did need to use a water proof protection spray on them to make sure an water didn't ruin the material but it is very easy to do.

The last purchase was again from M&S and it was for these cute little pumps. I needed a new pair because I am applying for jobs and I needed a good pair of pumps that could be walked around in all day so TaDa I got some. They have a little cushion in them that makes it even more comfortable for your feet. They cost me £35 but for the comfort they give you, I would definitely recommend buying a pair.

Here are some pictures of the clothes in outfits I would wear them in:

Thank you so much for reading I hope you enjoyed and it gave you some ideas about what you could wear to college or just some new outfit ideas.
Please keep reading and share it would mean a lot.

New Lip Liners

Helloooo my lovely readers,
I hope that everyone who was getting there results got what they wanted and are able to go to the college they want. I was very happy with my results, I must admit some could have been better but I am able to go to my first choice college which is all that matters.

Over my last few shopping trips, I have purchased a few new lip liners because I needed a few more colors and wanted to try some new brands out that I haven't used before so I thought I could do a 'first time' review on them.

These are the three new lip liners. They are all quite different colors and I hadn't tried any of these before today's blog. So lets jump straight in and see how they are.

So the first lip liner that I picked up was the Maybelline colorsensational lip liner in shade 140 'intense pink'. It is a beautiful deep pink which is perfect for days when I want more subtle lips instead of bright pink ones. So from first sight it is a lovely color and then when I swatched it, the texture was very smooth and pigmented. The swatch was only one line of the lip liner which is great because it is the perfect amount and you don't have to build it up to get the true color. The packaging is very nice and simple and fits in with Maybelline as a brand. I was very impressed with this lip liner because it was so pigmented and smooth but was also very long lasting and didn't smudge when tested, which is actually one of the features to the maybelline lip liners. The price for this lip liner is £3.99.

The second lip liner I purchased is also from the Maybelline colorsensational range in shade 630 velvet beige. I saw this in another store and again thought it was a lovely color and would work well with some of my other lip products. The color selection that they have in this range is great. So many colors for everyone. Again it is very smooth and pigmented and I can say all of the same things about this shade as I can about shade 140. I also liked this color because it has a shimmer through it and I thought it would look very nice on the lips. Again this product passed the smudge test just like it is promised. The cost of the this product is £3.99 which is great for the quality.

My last lip liner that I purchased was the Barry M Lip liner in shade 2. To start off with I was not impress with this product at all. The tip was a weird shape which I hadn't realized before buying and when I went to swatch it, it completely broke off. This shocked me because it was my first time using it and it was so brittle and giving me no color at all.
I tried sharpening it but the lip liner just kept breaking like lead when its been dropped onto the floor. I was not impressed because I wasn't even able to try the product before it was completely broken. I really liked the color but the quality of the product was terrible.
I kept sharpening until I got to a part of the liner which didn't break but that did mean wasting a lot of the product before getting to a part that I could actually use. Once I had got past the disappointment of the product, it was an alright lip liner. I can't say it was anything amazing but I can't say it was terrible apart from the top third. The liner wasn't as pigmented as the last two and I had to build it up but it was a very nice color and also did better on the smudge test than the last two. The Barry M lip liner has some good parts to it but also it has let itself down so unfortunately I will not be recommending it to anyone.

Thank you very much for reading my blog and I hope that you enjoyed it. If you want to try some new lip liners or just have never used one before I would definitely recommend the Maybelline Colorsensational lip liners. They are great quality and very affordable.
Please keep reading and share it would mean a lot.

Lush Breath of Fresh air Toner Water

Helloooooo my lovely readers,
I know its Monday and not Saturday but i've had a super busy weekend and I know I said I would sort it out but I am trying my hardest so please keep reading and just have faith that I will do a blog for you guys. I love doing them and I love seeing how many people actually spend their time to read them so thank you very much.

When I was out shopping the other day I just had to pop into Lush! It just has to be done, if not to buy something, just to smell the beautiful products that they have. I wasn't looking for any bath bombs because I do not takes baths, i'm a shower girl but I do love a lot of their other products. I spent ages looking around reading all the products and choosing what new and exciting thing I wanted to try next. Finally I chose the Breath of fresh air toner water. I have heard many good things about this product and I love cleansing and toner waters so I knew I had to try it out.

First of all, I just have to say I love Lush packaging. It is so simple by using just black and white but it makes it look very smart but gives it a unique look with the type of font the name of the product is in.

This product caught my eye from the name. Lush names are so cute and creative. "Breath of fresh air" really describes this product because it is full of ingredients that refreshes you and helps to cool you down just like a "breath of fresh air" would do. Some of the main ingredients in this product are mineral rich carrageenan seaweed extract, rose absolute and patchaili oil. All these ingredients are amazing for your skin and really helps to refresh you and give you a little "pick-me-up" when your skin might be dry or just needs a little love.

If like me you have quite red cheeks or are very prone to them becoming red after maybe doing some exercises or walking then this product would definitely be something that you should try out because the rose absolute helps to reduce any redness that you may have. Also if you become quite hot in the summer and just want something to help you cool down the patchaili oil is very cooling on the skin and will also keep your skin from becoming too dry.

One highlight to this product is that it has a spray pump top which helps to give you the perfect amount of product onto your face but also one spray is enough for your whole face so it helps you to not waste any product. Also this sort of top makes it very easy to bring this product with you if you were going away on holiday or just wanted to put it into your bag.

Not only are the products at Lush amazing quality and good for money they also protect against animal testing which I think is great because I hate knowing how animals are being treated to test products that we use. So whenever I can buy something that promises no animals were tested, it just makes the product 10x better. Also Lush put a label on every single one of their products telling you who made it and when it was made and when to use it by which I think is also great because then you know exactly who made your product and how long ago it was made.

This is definitely a product that I will be purchasing again and I will be recommending it to friends and family because it is a great product to have in your bag for a hot day out or to  refresh your face just before you put on makeup.

Breath of fresh air toner water 100g cost £3.95 and 250g costs £7.50.

Thank you very much for reading, I hope you enjoyed my blog.
Please keep reading and please share would mean a lot.

Smashbox Full Exposure Review

Hello my lovely readers, how is everyone's morning going? I'm sorry i didn't blog last weekend I just lost track of the days and before I knew it, it was already Monday. Oops! But don't worry I have lots of blogs lined up for the next couple of weeks.

Today's blog will be a review on the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette. I was extremely lucky to be given this as a gift from my brothers girlfriend, Abi. I have used it a few times and every time I have loved it.

So lets start with the packaging. I love it. It is so simply but very effective. The matte black of the overall case gives it a very sophisticated look and then the writing is in a beautiful metallic material that changes color as you move the case around. The overall look of the palette is just gorgeous and without even looking at the colors inside I knew I needed it.

Then once you look inside, you see that the packaging is only a small part of how amazing the palette is. Firstly, the mix of matte and shimmer shades are perfect. They are beautiful colors and they are great for many different eye looks that you may want to do. I have used it to do brown smoky eyes with a beautiful golden shimmer and lots of others. The shades are very pigmented and very easy to blend together. The palette comes with a beautiful brush which is two sides. One a beautiful blending brush and the other for the shimmer shades.

The blending brush. A dome shaped brush which is perfect for blending the matted shades out and works really well for applying all the shades.

The shimmer brush is a much shorter brush but is perfect for applying the shimmer shade because it helps it to stick onto the matte shades. The shimmer shade doesn't fall off of your eyelid which I find happens with other cheaper palettes.

These are the swatches from the 6 matte shades in the palette. All of the shades are very pigmented and they blend out very easily. The shades go from dark brown to light cremes to a black. The amount of different colors is great for all different makeup looks. They work really well for everyday and nights out. I use the matte shade mostly for everyday makeup looks because they are more subtle.

These are the swatches from the 6 shimmer shades in the palette. They are all very pigmented and they are not extremely glittery but when they are, you can get glitter around the eye which can make it look un-neat so to have shades that aren't too glittery but still have a large amount of shimmer in them are perfect for me.

Thank you very much for reading my blog, I hope that you enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this palette to you if you have the opportunity to get it. It is perfect for everyday looks and looks for nights out. The cost for this palette is £37 which I think is great for the quality and amazing shades that you get.

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog and please keep reading and please share because it would mean a lot to me.
