Spring Outfit

Helloooo my lovely readers, 

How is everyone's weekend going? I have had a great start to the weekend just because i got a lie in, which was amazing and this evening is going to be even better because i am going to be seeing MCBUSTED with my best friend Aideen!!!!!!! It is going to be so much fun, i cannot wait. 

So from the title you can already tell today's blog is going to be a spring outfit. I was going to do this blog while i was in Italy but I just didn't have enough time so I am doing it today. I hope you enjoy it.

And here it is, my spring outfit. I chose a dress because everyone loves a pretty little dress in spring and I got this one from New Look in the sales, and it cost me £10. I paired it with my denim/lacy jacket because spring can sometimes still be a little cold so you still need a cover up. This jacket also makes the dress more casual and an everyday outfit. This is one of my favorite jackets because it just goes with everything and the extra lace just gives it that bit more detail which I feel makes it more summery and brightens it up. I purchased it from a market in Italy but I know shops like New Look and River Island have similar jackets in store at the moment. 

I chose these little cute black wedges because they only have a small wedge so they are very easy to walk in and they are super comfortable which makes them even better. They are a soft black suede with a little black buckle and a weaved wedge. They are from Next and they cost £12.  

I matched it with a soft leather creme handbag which has long and short handles so you can wear it which either way you prefer. The light color of this bag brightens up the whole outfit which brings it all together. I also got this bag from a market in Italy because they are amazing quality bags and the only cost from 40 euros to 60 euros. This bag in particular cost me 45 euros.  

I finished the outfit off with a simple gold chain with a black and gold triangle. I didn't want to make the necklace to detailed and big because it would have clashed with the pattern on the top of the dress. I got this necklace from primark for £5. 

This is the outfit without the jacket. It still looks very pretty for spring for a day out with friends or family or going out for a meal.

Day Trip to Venice

Hellooo my lovely readers,

How has everyone's half term been?? Mine has been great I've been in Italy for the last week and it has been so much fun. We went to Venice for a day trip and I had such a good day. I took tons of pictures and I wanted to share the day with you. So i hope you enjoy this blog and if you ever get the chance to go, have an amazing time and enjoy yourself it is so worth the time. 

Me and my parents drove to Florence and then got the train to Venice. It took 2 hours to get there but it was so relaxed and i did lots of revision so i used the time well. 

When we got there we took a water taxi down the Grand Canal. It was so beautiful and amazing to see all of these boats. 

 There are lots of different types of boats that travel up and down. I loved seeing them especially these boats delivering post to peoples houses.

 Ok so at this point i was being a bit of a film geek. This is the balcony that Jonny Depp jumps off of in the film 'the tourist'. 

The Cathedral was so beautiful inside and outside but unfortunately i cannot remember the name so i am very sorry. 

 St Marks square is somewhere i would definitely recommend visiting. It is so beautiful and the buildings are just amazing.

Barry M aquarium Collection

Hellooooo everyone.

IT'S FINALLY HALF TERM!!! WOOOOO.

It has been a very long term and I definitely need this break to revise for my exams which are in like a month which is crazy!!!!

So I went into Superdrug the other day and like always I went to the Barry M nail vanishes and i fell in love with what I saw. The Aquarium Collection!! 

Look at these beautiful colors! Aren't they gorgeous. The collection includes these four main colors and then two top coats which i did not purchase because I am not a huge fan of top coats. They all cost £3.99 which is such a bargain for such beautiful colors.

These are swatches of the four colors. As you can see they are very bright colors which are perfect for summer. I call them mermaid colors because they have one main color but in different lights they change, which I love. 

The first color is Caspian. It is a lovely rose gold color with a small amount of purple. These colors all work well to make a perfect color for everyday and especially school if you aren't allowed to wear bright colors. 

The second color is Mediterrenean which is my favourite of all four. It looks very orange in the picture but it is more of an orangy/pink. It is very glittery which makes it shine a lot in light and is also a very bright color so it might not be a good one to wear to school. In the light it changes from pink to red to orange but the main color that you get from it is a rusty red which doesn't sound to good but it is a beautiful color. 

The third color is Pacific and it really matches its name. Just imagine a beach with crystal clear water. Well that is the color of this nail vanish, it is so bright and perfect for summer. The shade doesn't really change in the light and it has less glitter that the mediterranean shade but it is still lovely. 

The forth and final color is Arabian. This is the most mermaid color of all of them. It is a lovely green color with a ting of gold. This is a lovely shade which again would be perfect for the summer. This color is not as bright as all the rest so could be worn more of a day to day basis.
