New Kiko Haul!

Hello my lovely readers! Feels like ages since I last posted...oh wait it was! Im sorry but work experience (which was amazing) took up my first week and then catching up on all my work has basically been my second week. I am sorry but I have some time now before I go on my Gold DofE expedition.

So before I start my blog I want to tell you all about my work experience! I did a two week placement at the London Marriott Park Lane Hotel. I can truthfully say I had an amazing time and now know that I would love to work in a hotel. The people working there were so friendly and lovely to me and I just had such a good time. I was in many different sections of the hotel but my favourites were the executive lounge and AYS (At your service). I loved my time at the hotel and wished it could have been longer.

Now you know all about my time at the Marriott lets get on with the blog. I went to london with a bunch of my friends on Wednesday and of course we had to go into Kiko and of course I brought a few things which I knew you would like to see, so lets begin.

These are the items that I brought. I have changed the setting of my blogs because the natural lighting today was being a poo.

The first item is a precision lip pencil in shade 308. It is a beautiful deep pink/ red colour which applied really well to my lips. When I tried to smudge it, it held shape very well. I really liked this colour because it would work well with a lot of lipsticks that I have at home and also I like to wear a brighter lip liner with pink lipstick and it was just a very nice colour. These lip liners cost £2.80 which is a bargain for the quality that you get.

The next item is one of their Velvet Mat Lipstick in the shade 613. This brand of lipstick is probably my favourite. It applies perfectly to my lips and stays on for ages. The lipstick has a very smooth texture and the pigment is great. I have a much deeper red and now I have this mix between light pink and nude but I really like this colour because it is an everyday lipstick whereas some pinks can be too bright. This lipstick only cost £5.00 which is such a good price for the amazing quality and pigment that you get from this lipstick.

The next thing that I brought was an empty eyeshadow case. They offer a huge range of eyeshadows which come in so many different beautiful colour. This case is a really good idea because then you can kind of 'mix and match' the eyeshadows that you want. I had hoped to get the 9 piece case but they were sold out but this case only cost £2.50 which is a bargain.

The first eyeshadow I picked up was in shade 216 and it was a lovely light brown which can be used for an everyday colour. The texture of the eyeshadow was very soft and smooth and the pigment was very good. The colour did not need building up. Each eyeshadow cost £2.80.

The next eyeshadow was this beautiful ocean blue in the shade 267. Again the pigment was great and the colour didn't need any building up. The colour was very bright with a beautiful shimmer through it which made it an amazing colour.

The next shade I got was 212 which was a lovely golden/ copper colour. You cannot see this very clearly from the photo but the pigment was very bright and the colour had a shimmer through it which made the colour stand out even more.

The last shade that I brought was number 211 which is very similar to shade 212 but it had more of a red, rusty colour to it. This will be perfect for a night out because I love these types of colours.

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you enjoyed and it gave you some ideas about some new makeup items that you would like to purchase.
Love you all <3
