Makeup Haul and Review!

Helloooo my lovely readers, how is everyone's weekend going?
I would just like to say a HUGE thank you for helping me reach 2000 views! I love writing these blogs and knowing that people read and enjoy them helps me to make them better for you.
As you can tell from the title, I went shopping again which is going to be a theme for these two weeks which I hope you will enjoy. All of the stuff that I will be showing you is from Superdrug and Boots.
And before we start I just want to say i'm sorry that the pictures are a bit blurry the lighting wasn't very good and this is the best I could do. I hope you enjoy.

These are the items that I purchased. Starting from left to right:
-Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL volume.
-N07 soft and soothed Toner.
-Biore deep cleansing Pore strips.
-Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Lips in shade Sirius.
-MUA luxe Velvet lip lacquer in shade Funk.
-Boots own blending brush.
-MUA bronzed perfection.

The first product I will be reviewing is the Batiste Dry shampoo XXL volume. I ran out of dry shampoo so was just going to buy my normal one but when I saw this I wanted to give it a try. My hair can sometimes look very flat especially when its close to needing a wash. This dry shampoo refreshes the hair and gives it more life by adding a lot of volume to it. It works really well if you spray it onto your hair and brush it through with your fingers instead of a brush. It is a much thicker spray than the normal dry shampoo and does leave you hair with  a very dry feeling to it but it lasts for ages and keeps the volume in your hair. I purchased this product from Superdrug and it cost me £1.97.

Lately I have got into cleansers and toners. I have tried all sorts of brands and I find them very good for my face. I normally take my makeup off with a wipe and then use a cleanser and a toner and it takes off any makeup that gets deep into your pores and means you are cleaning your face completely. My mum was nice enough to give me a voucher for Boots which gave you £5 off any N07 skincare products so of course I had to go and take a look at what they had. I brought this toner because it says soft and soothes gentle toner which is great because i have very sensitive skin so products can't be too strong. This normal costs £8 but with my £5 voucher it only cost me £3.

I have been wanting to try these Barry M Gelly Lipsticks for a while because I have heard very good things about them. At the moment they have an offer in Superdrug for 3 for 2 on all makeup products so you can mix and match between all of the brands and that is what I did. This lipstick is in shade 4 Sirius. It is a lovely redish pink and would be a lovely color for the summer. It is a very creamy and soft formula and can be applied to the lips very easily. They have many different shades and they cost £4.99.

Again this was a product that I have been wanting to try for a while. My friend recommended it to me for a great affordable bronzer. It is a lovely golden brown color and works perfectly on my face to give it more defined features. It is the perfect shade for summer and I will be using it a lot. Again it was in the Supedrug 3 for 2 offer and it costs £3.

This was the final product I purchased in the 3 for 2 offer. The MUA luxe velvet lip lacquer in shade Funk. It is a beautiful hot pink that is soooo pigmented its crazy. When I first tested this product I was so amazed at how pigmented it was for the price. After a few seconds they start to go matted and they stay on your lips for hour. They are very hard to take off but that is good because you know they will stay on for ages. They do many other shades and they cost £3.

Another product that I brought was the Biore Deep cleansing Pore strips. They are for your nose and they unclog any black heads that you have. You get 6 strips in the packet and they are very easy to use. You place then on your nose after you have washed your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then once you take it off most of your black heads with go with it. I find it very good especially when I have a lot of black heads because this product makes it very easy to get rid of them. I brought this from Boots and it normal costs £7.99 but they were on offer for £3.99.

The final product that I brought was one of the Boots own brush and I purchased the blending brush. I wear eyeshadow a lot so I use a lot of brushes and my blending brush is becoming a bit old so I needed a new one. This costs £1.99 which is great because it is a lovely brush to use and blends the eyeshadow very easily.

Thank you very much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this blog and it may have given you some ideas about some new products that you might want to try out.
Thank you again for the 2000 views, I appreciate it a lot and am very grateful.
Please keep reading and share my blog it would mean a lot.

DIY buttoned letter gift!

Hello my lovely readers! How is everyone this weekend?
It was my best friends birthday last weekend and for ages I was thinking about making her something as well as buying her some presents just because I thought she would love it and I wanted to put some more effort into something. I finally saw an amazing piece of crafty DIY that I knew she would love on pinterest. I choice to do buttoned letters with a twist, i mounted them onto a canvas.

So to start off with I went out and brought all of the materials that I needed. I get most of it in hobby craft and also some of the buttons in a charity shop.
The cardboard letters are £2 each.
Packets of buttons are £1 each.
Buttons from the charity shop were 10 for 50p.
The PVA glue was £2 for the bottle.
Paint from B&Q.
A canvas of a size that suits you.
Double sided tape.
You will also need newspaper to protect the surface you are doing the craft on and a plate and a paint brush to put the glue on.

To start off with I laid out all of the buttons and then placed them onto the letters to see how they worked. This also helps you to change them before you stick them down.

After I was happy with how the buttons looked i took them back off and placed them onto the table to keep them in the order.
Then just add a small amount of PVA glue to a small plate so that it is easy to get to and not get too much on the paintbrush because you only need a thin layer on the letters.

Once I stuck one section of the buttons onto the letters I took more of them off and put a thin layer of glue.

This is the finished A letter.

After I was finished the A, I did the same to the J.

This is the two letters finished after I stuck down all of the buttons.

I painted the canvas with two layers of warm pewter paint from B&Q to match and left it over night to dry.

I also painted the sides of the letters so that it matched with the canvas and the color flowed.

To mount the letters onto the canvas I used double sided tap.

This tape stuck the letters onto the canvas really well and worked really well because I didn't want to put glue onto the canvas because it would have left a stain.

This is what the letters looked like once they were stuck onto the canvas. I didn't like the plainness of the canvas so I wanted to add some more buttons around the letters.

This is the finished look and it definitely looks a lot better with the buttons around the letters because it adds more detail.

I really enjoyed making this crafty DIY and it is such a lovely gift to make for friend and family. You could use any colored buttons.

Thank you very much for reading and comment below if you would like me to do anymore DIY blogs.
Love you all

Aussie Mega Shampoo and Conditioner review!

Good Morning my lovely readers, how is everyone today?

Well exams have started and my stress levels have risen so my hair at the moment is not good. When my stress levels go up my hair seems to hate it and go all straw like and goes greasy very quickly. I wanted to try some new shampoo's and conditioner's that might help me with my crazy hair situation. I have tried many but my by far favourite is the Aussie Mega instant shampoo and conditioner.

They are godsends for my hair and have helped to get it back to its normally silky, softness. After the first wash, I saw signs of improvement and then wash after wash, my hair just got even nicer.

The shampoo I brought was a 500ml bottle and it cost £5.99. It is an everyday cleaning shampoo with Australian Kangaroo Paw flower. I do not know what that is but it does amazing things to your hair. After shampooing, my hair already felt very smooth and silky and I just kept wanting to touch it.

The conditioner that I brought was 400ml and also cost £5.99. Again its is an everyday conditioner with Australian kangaroo paw flower. On the bottle it says 'no build up' which is great because sometimes when I come out of the shower I haven't been able to get all of the conditioner out of my hair which can be a pain because you hair can become very greasy, very quickly. The Aussie conditioner washes out very easily and I have not been left with any still in my hair after any washes which is great because my hair lasts longer before it needs washing again.

If like me, your hair needs a bit of love and attention, I would definitely try these products out. They help your hair recover and leave it beautifully soft and silky with a lovely shine. You can buy Aussie products in most drugstore's like superdrug or boots.

Thank you very much for reading.
I hope you enjoyed this review.
Please keep reading and share my blog, it would mean a lot.

Spring Haul!

Helloooo my lovely readers,
How is everyone today? I am happy and sad because we have finally finished school but i'm going to miss everyone dearly and exams start on Monday.
I am very sorry there was no blog last weekend, i was just so busy that i never got around to it.
As you can already tell from the title of this blog i went shopping. I brought a few things for spring and summer and thought i would share them with you.

The first item that i purchased was this flowy crop top also known as a jersey fancy. It is a lovely light blue with white and black flowers. I love the color and also the flow of it because sometimes i feel that the tight crop tops can be too small especially if your moving around in them a lot. I paired it with a deep red skirt that is also very flowy. It works really well as a whole outfit especially for the summer time. It also looks very nice with high waisted jeans or shorts. I purchased it from H&M and it cost me £3.99 which is a complete bargain for such a lovely top. If you don't like this pattern they also had a few other styles that you might like.

This is the second top that i purchased. It is just a plain grey top at the front and then it has these gorgeous flower fabric chains that crisscross across the back of the shirt. This will be a beautiful top for the spring and summer and would also go very well with shorts. I purchased this top in Hollister. The original price was £19 but they had 30% off everything so i paid £13.30 for it which is a great price for such a beautiful top.

This was my favorite buy of the whole day! This top has a lovely Aztec pattern on it with a thick deep blue lace trim around the bottom. It had a very high neck and no sleeves. It is a lovely soft material that has a flow to it. I will be constantly wearing this during spring and summer. It is from New Look and it cost £12.99.

This top was from my mother and i know it is long sleeved but it would be very nice for days that are a little bit windy and cold and also i can easily wear it in the winter. It is a lovely deep blue material with button detail at the ends of the sleeves and at the neckline and you can't really see it in this picture but it has a lace material at the shoulders and top of the back. This is from the Fat Face section in John Lewis and cost £25.00.

This is another item that my mother brought me but i absolutely love this bikini. It is a mix of white, light blue and dark blue colors and has a huge shell in the middle. The strap is a normal round the neck and it can be unclipped. I am not sure where this is from or how much it cost.

This necklace is from primark. It is just a very simple hard gold circle with black triangles. I love primark for there jewelry because i get bored of my jewelry after a couple of wears and primark has beautiful designs at such low prices why would i not shop there? This cost me £3.

I had to go to Debenhams and buy myself another 'they're Real' mascara's from benefit. I am absolutely in love with this mascara! I wear it everyday and it makes my lashes so long and gives a lovely winged affect. The price used to be £19 but it has now gone up to £19.50. This may sound a lot of money for a mascara but i can ensure you this is the best and the tube will last you ages.

My final purchase was this Front cover dual lip gloss. The color side is very pigmented and once applied to your lips its dries to become very matted. The clear gloss side makes the color very glossy and shiny. In today's blog i am wearing just the color because i didn't want anything to sticky. It lasts a really long time and the color is beautiful. This cost me £5.99.

Thank you very much for reading I hope that you enjoyed it.
