I am so sorry that I haven't done a blog for a long time. Lately it has been a bit hectic with exams and revising but finally they are OVER! Now I am free and I can do lots more blogs which I am very excited about.
Today's blog is showing you some of the things I have brought for my holiday to Italy in a couple of weeks. I know I did a spring haul not too long ago but I have brought a lot more for the summer since then and I thought you would like to see what I have brought. So lets get started.
These beautiful shorts are from H&M and cost £7.99. They are perfect for the summer and work really well with a plain top. You could wear these casually but also dress them up with a nice top, a gold necklace and some black wedge shoes.
These two skirts are also from H&M. The pink flowery one cost £7.99 and the grey skirt cost £4 because luckily it was in the sale. Both of these skirts are great for sunny weather because trousers can be too hot. Again they work well with a plain top or they would work with a patterned top because they are plain skirts.
These jeans are from TKMaxx and they are Levis and they cost £30. I have added these into the holiday haul because sometimes at night it can become quite cold in Italy so you need a pair of jeans to make sure you are warm. They are just a black pair of jeans which can be worn casual or dressed up for a night out.
This flowery Kimono is also from TKMaxx and cost £16.99. This will be perfect for a cover up when it gets a bit hot but I could also use it for a little cover up for a meal or a night out. It is very light but just gives that added extra to an outfit.
This lobster top is from Marks and Spencers and cost £19.50. I know it may not be to everyone's liking but I kinda love it. It is a very light top so perfect for hot weather and could be worn with shorts or a plain skirt.
This dress is from TKMaxx and I call it my Amazonian Tea dress. It cost £9.99 and I love it. The color are so beautiful and perfect for summer. It is very light so won't be too hot to wear. This could work as an everyday summer dress or could be dressed up with some nice jewellery and heels and it would be the perfect dress for a night out.
This Kimono is my favorite of all of mine. It is a complete lace kimono from New Look and cost £19.99. It is perfect for a summer cover up because it is very light and because it is white the sun bounces off of it so it won't make you too hot.
These silk trousers are from a lovely little shop in Chester called Laundry. They cost £89 and are perfect for a light pair of trousers. I know they are a bit pricey but a lot of other shops are doing the same sort of trouser at lower prices. Sometimes when it is hot I don't always like to wear shorts, and I thought these trousers, being so light and flowy, would be perfect.
This top is also from the shop Laundry and cost £22. Again it is a lovely light, flowy material, that will help to keep me cool when it is very hot. This top would work with jeans or shorts and even tucked into a nice skirt. Because of the light, flowy material, it could even be worn as a beach cover up.
This flowery blouse is from H&M and cost £7.99. The colors are perfect for the summer and I know this top works really well with jeans and tucked into a skirt. It is a very light and flowy material.
I brought these boots a while ago but I do love them and I may not be wearing them that much in the summer, I still wanted to add them in. They are Timberland boots and they cost £110. They are thick leather and work really well to make a look more casual. They are better for the colder months but they can also be worn on days in the summer that aren't as hot.
These platform shoes are from Office and cost £20. I have been wanting to try some for ages and when I went in the other day they were on sale, down from £36 which is a bargain. They go perfectly with dress for a meal out or just as casual shoes.
