Day Trip to Venice

Hellooo my lovely readers,

How has everyone's half term been?? Mine has been great I've been in Italy for the last week and it has been so much fun. We went to Venice for a day trip and I had such a good day. I took tons of pictures and I wanted to share the day with you. So i hope you enjoy this blog and if you ever get the chance to go, have an amazing time and enjoy yourself it is so worth the time. 

Me and my parents drove to Florence and then got the train to Venice. It took 2 hours to get there but it was so relaxed and i did lots of revision so i used the time well. 

When we got there we took a water taxi down the Grand Canal. It was so beautiful and amazing to see all of these boats. 

 There are lots of different types of boats that travel up and down. I loved seeing them especially these boats delivering post to peoples houses.

 Ok so at this point i was being a bit of a film geek. This is the balcony that Jonny Depp jumps off of in the film 'the tourist'. 

The Cathedral was so beautiful inside and outside but unfortunately i cannot remember the name so i am very sorry. 

 St Marks square is somewhere i would definitely recommend visiting. It is so beautiful and the buildings are just amazing.
